MEET CHERYL
Estate Planning & Business Law
In 1995, I began practicing law as an insurance coverage attorney at a medium-sized law firm in San Francisco’s Financial District. My boss and mentor, Michael, is a wonderful person and I enjoyed every minute of my time in the Bay Area. After moving to Arizona in 2008 to be near family and taking some time off to raise my young daughter, in 2013 I hung up my shingle and shifted focus to different types of contracts. I now practice estate and small business planning.
I work best in close-knit relationships with people that want to clear through the wealth of information and possibilities out there and make things as streamlined and easy as possible. A good day is when I can help someone put the legal structure around their goals for building their businesses and passing their accumulated things to their families and friends when all is said and done.
In 2019, I discovered my passion for teaching when I became an Adjunct Professor of Business Law and Ethics at Grand Canyon University. Teaching undergrads is such a fun way to spend a few days a week during the school year. This led the way to a natural addition of offering short-term coaching and mentorship programs for entrepreneurs that are personalized to your specific needs.
I hope to learn about your business goals and plans for the future soon!
